Obviously, things will be looking quite a bit different around here on Easter. As I’m sure it will for you, too! Despite being social isolated, I’m determined to celebrate Easter in all it’s glory this year.
I love celebrating Jesus’s death and resurrection on Easter each year. But, the truth is: we don’t need a holiday to celebrate this victorious truth! Can I get an amen? While Easter looks different for most of us this year, let’s not let our quarantine interrupt our celebration. We can celebrate Jesus anywhere and with anyone!
Other than the obvious enjoyment of flavors, my favorite thing about food is the way it naturally brings people together. “Getting together” will look different this year, but I encourage you to celebrate virtually with your friends and family. Whether you’ll be celebrating a quiet Easter alone or in the midst of a jam-packed house, I hope this Quarantine Easter menu brings laughter, gratitude, and celebration into your home.
Don’t get me wrong: Jesus is reason enough to celebrate, but a celebratory feast is icing on the cake. After all, Jesus feasted and drank wine with His disciples. And, who better to learn from?
