It’s officially November, which means Thanksgiving is almost here! Can you feel my excitement as you read these words? I’m practically jumping out of my seat as I type this! As we close in on my favorite holiday, it’s only appropriate that I share my favorite Paleo Thanksgiving recipes! Last year, I shared a Paleo Thanksgiving Dessert Round-Up. But, this year I’m going all out with all the goods- breakfasts, appetizers, sides, mains, desserts, and drinks!
This Thanksgiving will look a little different for my family. Given it’s my absolute favorite day of the year, Blake and I have usually spend Thanksgiving in California with my family. However, this year, we flip-flopped holidays. Meaning, this will be my first Thanksgiving in Texas! Although, it’s bittersweet, I am excited to celebrate this special day with my husband’s family and continue to build our own holiday traditions. Also, my sweet mama is joining us in Texas for Thanksgiving, which will make the holiday even more special!
It’s pretty safe to say I love Thanksgiving because of all the mouth-watering food.. which is true. But, it doesn’t stop there! Thanksgiving is my favorite because I love the tradition of gathering. Gathering with your loved ones. Gathering to break bread and drink wine. Gathering to laugh, talk, and laugh some more.
Gathering is the foundation of Thanksgiving. Delicious food is just the icing on the cake.
This year, I am hoping to contribute to the Thanksgiving feast with some Paleo-friendly options. Although most of my family doesn’t have the same dietary preferences as me, I’m convinced they will find these dishes as tasty as I do!
