I don’t know about y’all, but I’m stoked for the Super Bowl this year! Not only is it an afternoon filled with good food and even better company, but this year my hometown 49ers finally made it to the big game AND it’s B’s birthday! Basically, you can bet we’ll be doing all the celebrating this Sunday- especially if the niners kick butt, like I hope they do!

Although I love watching a good game of football and the best commercials of the year, it’s the delicious snacks that really make the Super Bowl for me. Are you even surprised? I’m sure not. However, it’s no surprise that traditional Super Bowl chips, dip, and beer aren’t the most nourishing snacks and refreshments around.
