Pumpkin is one of my favorite flavors, ever (along with every other woman in the world, huh?). It’s low calorie, full of nutrients, creamy, and adds tons of flavor to any recipe. You can use it to bake, cook, or replace butters and oils in most recipes. Sounds like a win to me, which is why Creamy Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal is a personal favorite!
Years ago, I loved adding pumpkin to my morning bowl of oats. Somehow, in more recent years, I forgot about this delicious idea. Well, it’s making a comeback in my kitchen, and I hope it makes it’s way into your kitchen, too!
How to Make Creamy Pumpkin Spice Oatmeal
My favorite way to make this Creamy Pumpkin Oatmeal is using my recipe for egg white oats. It adds a little bit of protein and extra creaminess. However, feel free to use your favorite oatmeal recipe instead!
To Make Egg White Oats:
Replace half the water with egg whites (~2-3) or whole eggs (~1). Stir with a fork often, while cooking.
